After Nadia's mother died day 56, Nadia and her brother, Rabbit, are left alone in a BluStar disease overtaken world. Nadia and Rabbit will have to make a cross country trip to Virginia. There, their uncle and grandpa will take care of them. Nadia and Rabbit's journey will be filled with heartache, suspense, big guys with guns, crazy ladies, new friendships, and lots and lots of driving. They will have "to be the cockroaches" of this new, crazy, post apocalyptic world. "Will they be a survivor or a statistic?"

What I liked about the book was Nadia's determination. Lots and lots of things went wrong but Nadia was headstrong and was determined to survive.

What I didn't like about the book was at some parts, the book was really slow. It was made up though with some action and suspense scenes.

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars. (I know how short this review is but I didn't want to give too much information out.)
