Eadlyn is the heir and future queen of Illea, a dystopian kingdom. Because of her parents' wishes, she agrees to participate in a Selection, just like what her parents did 20 years before. The Selection is where 35 people compete for your hand in marriage, and some people get eliminated along the way until one remains. 35 people come to the palace to compete for Eadlyn's hand in marriage. Eadlyn goes through ups and downs in this New York Times Bestselling novel.
One thing I liked about this book was how it was written in a way where it was impossible to put down. One thing I didn't like about this book was how it ended. It didn't really end in a right way, but I still like the book.
I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
