I'm assuming if you read this near the time it was posted, you probably haven't read the book yet, most people I know haven't. So go to Target and get it now! Anyways SPOILERS!!!! may happen, sorry, but it's impossible not to do sometimes. The book starts off with Harry's second child, Albus, preparing for his first year at Hogwarts. It's right about where the epilogue of Deathly Hallows ended. Albus goes to Hogwarts, with his cousin, Rose (daughter of Ron and Hermione). He is on the train, and meets Scorpius, who is Draco Malfoy's son. They proceed to befriend each other and Rose, pulling a Hermione, immediately puts him in a position underneath her, and Albus is confused by this. And so the children arrive at Hogwarts and the sorting begins. Rose is sorted into Gryffindor, and Scorpius is put in Slytherin. Albus is also put in Slytherin, slightly to his dismay. He is made fun of, for being, "the Potter in Slytherin." We then proceed to go throughout his days in Hogwarts, Albus becoming more disappointed of his Slytherin role. Albus and his Dad can't really stand each other anymore. Albus and Scorpius steal a time turner from Hermione's office and then travel back and change the world to an alternate timeline where Voldemort won. Scorpius then finds Ron, Hermione, and Snape and sets the world back to the correct timeline. Then the boys meet the enemy who tries to bring about the world Scorpius was in. And the ending you must read for yourself. 4 out of 5 due to the playwriting elements and just not being like the previous series entries.
