We All Looked Up By: Tommy Wallach

THIS BOOK IS FOR MATURE READERS! READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!

You think the end of the world will bring out the best in people. You think that everyone will band together and face their impending doom head on. Well you're wrong. Ardor didn't bring compassion, it brought out crazy. Ardor gave people who had never believed in anything an excuse to do their worst. Luckily for some of us, all Ardor did was let us shed our stereotypes. The athlete became a volunteer, the slut became a celebrity, the slacker became a master mind and the overachiever became a star. The only problem? Now that our stereotypes are gone we can really live, but only till the end of the world. Did I mention that that happens to be in just two months?

The main thing I enjoyed about this book was the aspect of it. I have read many books from a post-apocalyptic view but this is the first book I have read from a pre-apocalyptic view. It was interesting but very depressing.

The main thing I didn't like about the book was the inconclusive ending. No more is needed to be said on that mater.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
